Paper and Thread was started
because I really like zines and crafts. Quite simple really.
It had been an idea for a while and was finally born on the 1st of July
2005. It didn't open until the 11th of January 2006, but I was never
very good at being on time.
I spent all of summer 2005 building up a little collection of zines and
then in September I started university and never really got around to
finishing the website part. I finally got that chance come the
Christmas
holiday and here we are now.
I myself was born long before the 1st of July 2005. I love the colder
weather and have a passion for Christmas. I enjoy baking and making
little things that normally don't turn out quite how I'd imagined.
Everything here exists in my bedroom in
ikea files. I hope you like it.
I'm not one for shout outs and big ups and what not but I would like to
say thank you to my dear friend Alice, for saying 'good idea' rather
than saying 'don't be daft man'.
Sadly I no longer really have time to do this well, so I feel I should stop rather than doing a bad job. |
