I was trying to tow a trailer full of dirt bikes down to Arches National Park for a weekend of fun with my two sons. We usually try to go on a two trips like this per month, but it usually ends up we can only go once. We were, riding down the highway, the sons as happy as possible, when a deep rumble jerked us to attention. The whole car was vibrating and a terrible friction sound came from somewhere behind my car. I hurriedly pulled over to the side of the road. My trailer had malfunctioned. I was really upset because I’d purchased it only one year before. Luckily, the breakdown happened just a few miles from a small city. We were able to get a tow into town, but I thought our weekend fun had already been ruined. But the small city had a trailer distributor. It seemed as though our family vacation was saved.
